THE BUILD PLAYBOOK

A workflow is a system.
Build it like one.

We start with a business outcome, map the decisions, and build the smallest useful workflow with observable steps and explicit limits.

01

MAP THE WORK

Map the work

Identify inputs, systems, handoffs, and exceptions. Decide where a deterministic rule is enough and where language understanding adds value.

Process map · Input inventory · Named workflow owner
02

DEFINE THE CONTRACT

Define the contract

Agree on what the agent may read, what it may prepare, what needs approval, and what should stop the run.

Access scope · Approval rules · Success criteria
03

BUILD A FOCUSED SLICE

Build a focused slice

Connect the minimum tools needed for one useful outcome. Keep prepared outputs separate from consequential external actions.

Working workflow · Review interface · Activity history
04

TEST THE AWKWARD CASES

Test the awkward cases

Try missing fields, conflicting sources, duplicate records, integration failures, and attempts to act outside the approved scope.

Representative test cases · Exception routing · Acceptance review
05

LAUNCH WITH A FEEDBACK LOOP

Launch with a feedback loop

Roll out within the agreed scope, compare results with a baseline, and review the cases that need intervention.

Rollout plan · Baseline comparison · Support responsibilities

THE FIRST WORKFLOW SHOULD EARN THE NEXT

Useful measures.
Honest interpretation.

Time spent

Compare manual handling effort before and after the pilot, including review and exception handling.

Quality & exceptions

Track whether the output is correct and useful, and how often a person has to intervene.

Business outcome

Choose a measure linked to the workflow, such as response time or processing turnaround. Avoid treating activity alone as value.

LET’S MAP YOUR FIRST WORKFLOW

Start with the busywork.

Tell us which workflow you want to improve. We’ll receive your inquiry and use your details to follow up about it. Please leave confidential data out of this first message.

PRIVACY

Your inquiry. Handled with care.

When you submit an inquiry, we store your name, company, email, optional phone, workflow description, source page, consent, and submission time in our hosted lead records. New inquiries are copied to our restricted Google Sheets lead tracker. We use this information to respond to your inquiry.

The workflow examples use synthetic information. LinkedIn links open an external service governed by its own privacy policy. Hosting services may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site.

You can contact admin@mydcentral.ai to request access, correction, or deletion of your inquiry. If you contact us by email or LinkedIn, those services also handle your message under their own policies. Please leave credentials and confidential business data out of your initial inquiry. To limit spam, the hosting may process technical request details; our form uses a short-lived hash for request throttling and does not store your raw IP in the lead tracker.
